| Adding a Paint Layer (2) |
 |
|
To constrain a stroke vertically or horizontally, hold the shift key as you draw the stroke.
Each paint layer can combine the paint with the image in a different way. By default, the strokes appear on top of (”Over”) the image, but you can use any of the Blend Mode Effects.
To set the way the paint is applied, choose a blend mode from the drop down menu in the Paint Layer Effects Controller. This setting applies to all the strokes on a paint layer.
You can use a paint layer to erase parts of the underlying image. To erase parts of the image, choose Erase from the compositing menu in the Paint Layer Effect Controller, and draw over the parts of the image you want to erase. |
